An immersive, tailored learning expedition for a group of movement leaders and funders from AmbitioUS (Center for Cultural Innovation, USA), hosted in the Basque Country in September 2025.

Over one week, participants explored one of the world's most advanced cooperative ecosystems — from Mondragón Corporation and Arantzazu Lab to the TAZEBAEZ cooperative, Mondragon Team Academy and the Gaztenpresa Foundation — gaining first-hand insight into democratic governance, worker ownership and cooperative finance.

The journey also examined the cultural roots of cooperation through local initiatives such as La Sinsorga and the region's gastronomic societies, offering practical strategies for sustainable, collaborative economic and cultural models.

Participants leave with first-hand insight into cooperative finance and governance, a feel for what makes cooperation so deeply rooted in Basque culture, and fresh strategies for building collaborative economic and cultural models back home.
